Junk Removal & Dumpster Rental FAQ

Most people have the same handful of questions before they book a cleanout or drop a dumpster in the driveway, so we have answered them below. You will find the practical stuff here: how pickups work, what we can take, what we cannot, and what to expect on the day.

If your question is not covered, call us or send a message and we will give you a straight answer. Tell us what you have and where it is, and we can usually sort out the details in a couple of minutes.

What do you take?

Junk removal, furniture removal, appliance removal, carpet removal, yard waste, garage/shed cleanouts, e-waste, hot tub removal

What can you not take?

Moving services, cleaning services, gas appliance disconnects, hazardous waste, tree cutting/trimming

How is a junk removal job priced?

By how much space it takes in the truck. We work in 6 load sizes, from Single Item upwards, and you get a price before we start.

Is there a minimum charge?

Our minimum job is $80. Smaller loads still cost that much because the truck and the crew still have to get there.

Do I need to be home?

Not always. If everything is outside or in an unlocked garage, tell us where it is and we can take it from there. For anything inside we would rather you were around.

How long do I get the dumpster for?

The price covers 3 days. Keep it longer and we charge for the extra days rather than restarting the rental.

Is there a weight limit?

Each size includes a tonnage allowance -- 4 tons on the 20 Yard Dumpster. Anything over that is weighed at the scale and billed per pound.

Where will you put it?

Somewhere flat, firm and roughly the length of the container plus a few feet, with clear overhead room for the truck to tip it. A driveway is usually fine; we will tell you if the spot will not work.
